How do I open doors with my smartphone?

Unlocking Doors with Your Smartphone: A Step-by-Step Guide."

*This guide doesn't apply to Talent Garden Vilnius, BAT Accelerator Tower, Turin OGR, Turin Fondazione Agnelli and Talent Garden Denmark where we don't have this feature available yet.

To open doors using our app, please ensure that your smartphone has both Bluetooth and location services enabled. Our app relies on these features to display and facilitate door access.

In addition to enabling your device's Bluetooth and location services in general, some smartphones may require specific permissions for the Talent Garden app.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Step 1: Open the TAG app on your smartphone.

Step 2: Scroll through the homepage until you locate the "Open a Door" tile.

Step 3: Under "Open a Door," you should see a list of the nearest doors at your campus.
If you encounter a message that says "No locks found," please wait a few seconds, then close and reopen the app. Check again to see if the issue persists. If it does, follow these steps:

  • Go to your smartphone's settings.
  • Locate the Talent Garden app in the app settings.
  • Ensure that location services are set to "Always" for the Talent Garden app.
  • Kill the app (close it completely) and then open it again.

Step 4: Now, select the door you wish to open and swipe your finger to the right, following the arrow icon.

Alternatively, you can use the NFC tag located near the door you want to open as an alternative method. Make sure your smartphone supports NFC and that it is enabled. Then, place your smartphone close to the middle of the TAG.

By following these steps and ensuring your smartphone's Bluetooth, location services, and app permissions are correctly configured, you'll be able to open doors effortlessly using our app.
